Val and Dan own and run Footsteps By Faith, a family-owned early learning centre in Picton.
Our story
Val spent twenty years working in early childhood education and care across other services. She started Footsteps By Faith to run a centre the way she had always believed ECEC should be done: relationships first, educators properly supported, and families genuinely partnered with.
Dan joined her in November 2022, bringing twenty years in the technology industry, a systems and operations lens, and the perspective of a parent. Together they own and run Footsteps By Faith.

Valeria
Co-founder & Approved Provider
Valeria is the philosophical compass of Footsteps By Faith. She founded the service after twenty years in ECEC and leads it today as Approved Provider, and is a mother of four. Her role is to hold practice, culture and regulation in alignment so the centre stays true to its founding intent.
Dan
Co-founder & Director
Dan joined Footsteps By Faith in November 2022 after twenty years in SaaS. He looks at the service through four lenses: parent, systems, operational and quality. His focus is how things run day to day, how families experience the centre, and how the service keeps improving based on evidence and feedback.
